My weekend flew by. Mother always tells me that time flies when you’re having fun – I believe this to be true. Oct 26th, 2014 marked my last weekend living in San Francisco – I decided to fill it with quintessential bay area adventures.
A show was next on my list. I was having a hard time deciding whether to go to Peaches Christ‘s ‘Hocus Pocus‘ at the Castro Theatre or ‘American Hustle‘ playing in Dolores Park. Well, if you don’t buy tickets in advance to any of Peaches’s shows you will miss out as they sell out! My decision had been made for me. Movie in the park it was!
Three years ago I started riding in AIDS Lifecycle. About four years ago I started setting aside my Sundays to train for this five-hundred forty-five mile bike ride. Cycling over Golden Gate Bridge and heading into Marin is how we would start each training ride. Not a bad way to begin a day. We would often change the destination based on the mileage we wanted to get in. I haven’t been back on the bike since I completed AIDS Lifecycle 2014 back in June. With all of that being said, Corey and Jeff (good friends + Team Unpopular teammates) agreed that we would do a short forty-five mile ride to get back into the swing of things.
San Francisco you hold my heart. ❤
